User Terms for My Account
The conditions are translated from Swedish to English. In case of conflict, the Swedish version is always superior to the English version.
These terms ("User Terms") apply to the account ("My Account") that the customer has with Mälardalstrafik MÄLAB AB, reg. no. 556425-0610, with address Centralplan 3, 111 20 Stockholm, ("Mälardalstrafik").
You can log in to My Account in Mälardalstrafik's sales channels, mälartåg.se, and Mälartåg app. In the logged-in mode, you can purchase, rebook, and view your journeys. You can also change and update your personal information, download receipts and tickets, etc. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is correct and for updating your information if it changes.
For those under 18 years old, parental consent is required to create an account.
My Account is personal and may not be transferred to another person. You are responsible for all activities that occur through your account and for protecting your login information so that others are not allowed to access it.
Mälardalstrafik reserves the right to immediately suspend a My Account in case of misuse of the account or violation of the User Terms.
If you no longer wish to have a My Account, you can close the account at any time on your own. You can also contact Mälartåg customer service for assistance in closing the account. Contact information is available at mälartåg.se/kundservice. If the account has been inactive for 2 years, it will be automatically terminated.
These terms may be updated over time, and the current version of the User Terms is available here.
The purchase and travel conditions of Mälardalstrafik apply when you buy tickets and travel with Mälartåg. You can find the conditions here on mälartåg.se.
When you create and use your My Account, Mälardalstrafik will process your personal data. Information on how Mälardalstrafik processes personal data and the rights of data subjects under applicable data protection legislation can be found at mälartåg.se.
